Health Promotion Agency - Not Beersies
New Zealand has a chronic binge-drinking problem. It’s not just an accepted social norm, but a highly celebrated part of their culture. The 2013 “Say Yeah, Nah” campaign was successful in getting the phrases “Say Yeah, Nah” and “No more beersies for you” to stick in popular drinking vernacular. The next phase of the campaign introduces an even more engaging level of behavior change: we launched “Not Beersies” – promoting tap water as if it were a beer brand.
