Talent Investment boosts DraftFCB Malaysia Offering

Draftfcb Kuala Lumpur has made three senior appointments including that of Nick Gordon who has taken on the newly created role of Group Creative Director, Digital at Draftfcb. New recruits also include Faridah Sulaiman, head of copy and Charlotte Lam, senior copywriter.

In a move which will strengthen the agency's digital offering and leadership, Nick will be responsible for the quality control of creative digital output across the agency's three divisions, as well as playing a key role in new business efforts.

He joins Draftfcb from SapientNitro in Singapore, prior to this he was Group Digital Creative Director at Grey Kuala Lumpur. With creativity at his core, Nick has impressive experience ranging from specialist scriptwriting, including for plays produced and broadcast by BBC Radio. His work has won more than 70 awards at local and international shows including Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, The One Show, Clios, EFFIE's and more.

"Someone of Nick's caliber joining our team is a big deal. He will help raise creative standards and boost our digital capability," said Rupert England, Draftfcb's Executive Creative Director.

Faridah brings experience from both agency and client side. A proven copywriter, she has also led the Corporate Communications department for Land & General Berhad. With Draftfcb she will lead the copy function, a role she has also previously held with Naga DDB.

Charlotte Lam started her career in Auckland, New Zealand as a creative at Y&R. Lam has been recognized by the Kancils, Tropfest SEA and the Longhand Awards for her copywriting skills. She joins as senior copywriter and will report to newly appointed Sulaiman.
