Luis Silva Dias named Jury President of El Ojo Print
A new edition of El Ojo de Iberoamérica is coming and Luis Silva Dias, chief creative officer of FCB International, will lead the jury in charge of selecting the best pieces in the El Ojo Gráfica (Print) category. The festival that recognizes the best regional creativity will take place on November 4–6, 2015 at the Hilton Hotel in Buenos Aires.
A new edition of El Ojo de Iberoamérica is coming and with it comes top-notch industry talent who will bring their competence and be in charge of presiding over the awards. Over the last six years, the selected figures have been responsible for guiding and leading the juries of the different categories through deliberations for each medal, to then gather in Buenos Aires with the rest of the jury presidents and choose among all—with an integrated approach—the Grandes Ojos (Grand Prix). This innovative formula shows the integrated vision that El Ojo has had since its inception.
In this year’s edition, Luis Silva Dias, chief creative officer of FCB International, will be Jury President of El Ojo Gráfica (Print).
Responsible for designing and redesigning over 150 brands, Silva Dias has achieved great feats since he joined FCB in 2000. He was named Executive Creative Director of FCB Portugal in 2002, President and CEO of the same office in 2005, and Chief Creative Officer of Draftfcb Europe in 2013. A year later, he started leading the international division of the network.
Highly respected within the organization and in the industry as a whole, Silva Dias has not stopped garnering important achievements on both the creative and award level. He was won many Cannes Lions and has received many awards at El Ojo de Iberoamérica. Most recently, he was a speaker at El Ojo in 2014 and, in 2005, he won the Gran Ojo Gráfica with “Banderas” for Grande Reportagem while he was leading the FCB Portugal office.

About El Ojo de Iberoamérica
El Ojo de Iberoamérica is the first international festival with a Latin approach toward creativity, communication and entertainment. At each of its editions, and for 18 years, El Ojo has gathered Latin talent and spirit, to project it and integrate it with the world. The keys for its success are found in the pillars that gave birth to the festival: training, inspiration, networking and recognition of the best work, professionals and companies that produce it. As a result, the festival has stimulated the industry’s yearly growth and is a worldwide reference in creativity. Each year, El Ojo pushes the limits of talent, creativity and Latin communication, to empower them and make them grow. El Ojo is the place to meet, strengthen, empower, bond and project Latin talent beyond regional borders.
