Holland & Barrett adds FCB Inferno to Creative Agency Roster
London, August 9, 2016 — Health food retailer Holland & Barrett International has added FCB Inferno to its UK agency roster.
The majority of their ad spend will be placed with FCB Inferno, which will support their shift to a more digital and content-led approach beginning October 2016. RKCR/Y&R, which has provided above-the-line support for Holland & Barrett for the past three years as part of the “Good Life” animated campaign, will continue on the roster, reporting to Tim Lawrence, director of customer marketing.
Holland & Barrett International also currently works with Carat Manchester (media buying), Pegasus (PR), River (publishing), SP (point of sale) and Meet & Potato (production).
The appointment of another creative agency without a formal pitch process reflects Holland & Barrett’s increased growth and commitment to the Omnichannel business model. The 750-store-strong brand recently launched a new e-commerce platform and rolled out “click and collect” delivery nationwide.
FCB Inferno will report to Emma Hobbs, group head of brand and marketing for Holland & Barrett International. The account will be led by Managing Partner Nicola Starr.
According to Hobbs, “Taking Holland & Barrett to the next level means working with the best creative agencies and making the most of new channels. We’re excited to have FCB Inferno on board and look forward to bringing to life what makes the brand truly special.”
Tim Doust, founding partner of FCB Inferno, said: “Holland & Barrett International is at the forefront of health retail in Europe. To support their growth, and develop the brand’s digital and content offering, was a perfect fit for FCB Inferno’s capabilities, and we very much look forward to working together.”
