FCB Warsaw Names Agnieszka Wichracka Managing Director
Sébastien Desclée, President of FCB International, announced today the appointment of Agnieszka Wichracka to the role of managing director. She will be replacing current FCB Warsaw Managing Director Marcin Godlewski, who has held the position since 2012.
Godlewski announced his departure from the agency earlier this month and recommended Wichracka to be his successor, following her highly accomplished career as managing director of the Warsaw office of IPG’s McCann and MRM. She previously worked at McCann and MRM for four years, from 2013 to 2016. Wichracka currently serves as co-owner of Setup Shop, a Polish Consulting and Management firm, and will begin her role at FCB Warsaw under a management contract.
“I am extremely grateful for Marcin’s journey leading FCB Warsaw. Together with his talented team, he has been able to deliver outstanding behavior-changing work that is loved by consumers and admired by the industry. I wish him all the best on his new journey and hope our paths will cross again,” said Desclée.
The addition of Wichracka will strengthen the team at FCB Warsaw and continue the momentum generated during Godlewski’s tenure. With Godlewski at the helm, the agency was able to push its creative boundaries and expand rapidly to secure its position in the international market. According to Desclée, Wichracka will lead the company’s plans for future growth.
“With Agnieszka taking over, we couldn’t find a better replacement for Marcin, as her passion for people, client brands and great work are at the heart of all that she does,” said Desclée.
Wichracka added: “FCB Warsaw is an amazing agency. I’m thrilled to join such a talented, dedicated and competent team. I look forward to supporting FCB Warsaw’s growth and working together on a new agency model, which will keep pace with the evolving needs of clients ad brands.”
