FCB Health Network Names Mike Guarino Chief Commercial Officer
Agency veteran will amplify global strategy at a momentous time for the network
FCB Health Network Chief Executive Officer and President Dana Maiman today announced that Mike Guarino has been appointed chief commercial officer, effective immediately.
Currently chief strategy officer of the FCB Health Network, Guarino will continue to drive the overall strategy of the global network in his new role as chief commercial officer, ensuring that its offerings remain integrated, aligned and best-in-class. Additionally, Guarino will evaluate new services and offerings, and develop innovative products that will enable the network to continue its unprecedented success, which most recently includes itsdominance at the 2018 Manny Awards.

As chief strategy officer, Guarino has grown and integrated FCB Health’s strategy offering to include more than 150 talented strategists and medical professionals across the network. He has also built the engagement and health education functions, initiated provocative proprietary workshops and been at the forefront of all new business activities.
Guarino has been with FCB for twenty-two years, most recently as chief strategy officer (2011–2018) and managing director of Area 23 – a hugely successful agency within the FCB Health Network – which he started in 2007. He previously served as senior vice president and executive vice president, management supervisor at FCB Health in New York (2001–
2007), after returning from the West Coast, where he led FCB Health’s office in the region (1999–2001). Guarino began his career in account management at FCB Health, overseeing blockbuster launches for brands such as Vioxx and Cialis, among many others.
