FCB Health Expands Canadian Operations
Toronto, October 5, 2016 — FCB Health, one of the largest and most awarded healthcare agencies in the U.S., announced today that it is aligning with FCB Health Canada, reflecting the growth of the agency’s Toronto operations, particularly over the past year since it was spun off from FCB/SIX (formerly Rivet). FCB Health Canada, with clients such as Janssen, Eli Lilly, Merck and Hoffmann-La Roche, will now report into FCB Health in New York going forward.
“In a few short years, FCB Health Canada has doubled the size of their team, while winning several high-profile new business wins along the way. We are excited to work even closer with the Toronto office to strengthen and continue the agency’s incredible momentum,” said Dana Maiman, president and CEO of the FCB Health Network.
To lead the agency through this transition, Liz MacLeod has been appointed as managing director of the healthcare-focused shop. Liz joined the agency in 2009 as business director, leading the account service team for the agency’s healthcare business, which at the time consisted of one client. During her tenure, the agency has significantly grown its client roster and capabilities, developing expertise in product launches, HCP multichannel marketing and brand revitalization campaigns, all while building on its consumer and patient foundation.
Commenting on her new position and the agency’s restructure, MacLeod said, “This further strengthens our operations in Canada with even more connectivity to the FCB Health Network, beyond just shared clients. It gives us greater access to some of the most strategic and innovative thinkers in the industry, across an immense range of brands, therapeutic areas, marketing disciplines and more. There has always been a great collaborative relationship with our colleagues in the U.S., but we’re excited to bring that collaboration to a whole new level for our team and our clients.”
