FCB Announces the Launch of FCB/SIX Consulting

Press Release - Toronto , 05 March 2018

Toronto, March 5, 2018 – Today FCB/SIX, the data, digital and 1:1 specialist agency within the FCB Global Network, announced it will be launching a separate division called FCB/SIX Consulting – which will operate as a distinct and complementary offering to the FCB/SIX 1:1 creative agency.

FCB/SIX Consulting is designed to focus exclusively on back-end infrastructure support systems, and CRM platforms, including marketing, sales, and service clouds for clients – separating the tech and data complexities from the communications aspects of the business. The division will move the existing practice out of the creative agency to be stand-alone and will deliver on three service areas: technology solutions, data solutions and marketing automation.

Andrea Cook, president of FCB/SIX, will continue in her leadership role, overseeing both groups. She comments on the reason for the new division: “The rapid rate of change in the communications realm, specifically surrounding data and marketing tech, has left many disoriented. FCB/SIX already helps clients sort this out. Our Consulting group will grant greater accessibility to this skill set that is in such high demand and yet short supply.”

The agency, which services clients across North America, is headquartered in Toronto, works with leading brands across a variety of industries, including BMW and Johnson & Johnson, among others. Jacob Ciesielski, SVP Data and Technology, will oversee FCB/SIX Consulting, continuing his executive leadership role under Andrea Cook.

Under Ciesielski’s leadership, the team has grown to become one of the largest of its kind in North America. His approach is unique: “The industry is obsessed with the battle of automation and CRM engines. We have the wisdom of technologic agnosticism and the experience and proficiency to tailor, implement and automate tech and data solutions to the various – often complex – needs of our clients,” commented Ciesielski.

FCB/SIX has propelled double-digit growth every year since its inception. It’s also winning accolades for providing specialized, highly effective data, technology and one-to-one creative ideas that drive ROI for clients, including the most recent launch of the globally recognized platform Destination Pride for PFLAG.

“Lots of agencies specialize in communications, or data, or tech. We do it all. And we do it well. This gives us tremendous agility and advantage,” says Cook.

FCB/SIX and FCB/SIX Consulting are part of the FCB Canada Group of Companies, which provides their client partners with end-to-end communications solutions.

“Data and marketing technology are evolving and are critical sectors of the advertising industry.  With the creation of FCB/SIX Consulting, we look forward to bringing an unrivaled offering to new and existing clients across North America,” says Tyler Turnbull, CEO of FCB Canada.
