Creative Luminary Dan Fietsam To Join FCB Chicago
Renowned Brand Builder Fortifies Creative Ranks
Dan Fietsam, the driving force behind memorable and iconic advertising campaigns for brands like Wrigley, PepsiCo, T-Mobile, Jim Beam and Anheuser-Busch, will join FCB Chicago on July 14, 2014, as EVP, executive creative director. He reports to Chief Creative Officer Todd Tilford.
Fietsam will join FCB from Energy BBDO, where he helped generate unprecedented growth during the nearly six years he served there as chief creative officer. Earlier in his career, Fietsam held leadership positions at DDB, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy, Y&R and Publicis, primarily in Chicago. He replaces Jon Flannery, who is being promoted to chief creative officer of FCB Toronto.

Fietsam’s work has been recognized by all the major award shows, and his famous “Swear Jar” spot for Bud Light even won him an Emmy.

Fietsam, a faculty member at the University of Chicago, holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s degree from Northwestern University.
