Santiago Puiggari Joins FCB Buenos Aires as President and Partner

Press Release - Buenos Aires, 25 August 2015

BUENOS AIRES, 25 August 2015 – It was announced today that Santiago Puiggari has joined FCB Buenos Aires as President and Partner. The agency has not had a local shareholder since 2002 and Puiggari’s appointment is the foundation of an expansion plan for adding new clients, talent and disciplines.

“I am very pleased to have Santiago leading our FCB presence in Argentina. His track record leading recognized creative agencies in different markets and creating admirable work that delivers outstanding results in the new media field is a great promise for our clients and agency,” said FCB International President Sébastien Desclée.

Puiggari began his career in the late ’90s in digital agencies. He has a background in technology and processes, and throughout the last 15 years has led advertising agencies as they transition in the digital age. Puiggari first worked within the IPG network from 2003 to 2006 as managing director of digital start-up FCB Chile (now FCB Mayo Chile) before moving to Grey Group. He held several senior positions there, including digital manager of Grey Group Latin America and president and CEO for Grey Argentina and Chile, as well as serving as a member of their Latin America Leadership Council.

Puiggari joins FCB Buenos Aires from McCann Worldgroup Argentina, where he was president and CEO. During his time there, he was responsible for local agency operations, Momentum activations and shopper marketing, as well as for Commonwealth//McCann, the business unit serving General Motors. During that period, the agency won clients such as Sony Latin America, Zurich, P&G, Roemmers, La Virginia, SODIMAC, Claro Video and ZonaJobs, among others.

“I am proud and pleased to rejoin the network where I took my first steps,” said Puiggari. “Being back as a partner is a big challenge, but I could not pass up the opportunity to be part of a network where they so strongly believe that innovation in creativity and customer engagement are the base to design best practices in consumer behavior change.”

Currently FCB Buenos Aires is the agency of record for many top name clients including Beiersdorf, Mondelez, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, SABMiller, NewSan, Fargo and Pernod Ricard among others.
