Joanna Monteiro Named to Ad Age list of top 50 Most Creative People

Joanna Monteiro, creative VP at FCB Brazil is often recognized for her work. This time, she appears among the 50 most creative people in the world in 2014, according to Advertising Age, a global advertising publication.

She is the only Brazilian on the list, which includes great names such as chef Anthony Bourdain and film directors Richard Linklater (Boyhood) and Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave).

The agency had one of the best performances of Brazilian agencies at the festival. Joanna was nominated the top creative woman in advertising, according to the American site Business Insider, was cited as “a woman to watch” by Advertising Age and named the number five creative director by the Big Won Report. At FCB Brazil since 2012, she leads the creative department in partnership with Max Geraldo. The team won 17 awards at the 2014 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, including the Mobile Grand Prix. As a result, Monteiro will be President of the Mobile Jury at the 2015 festival.
