Horizon FCB Dubai Hires Planning Director Munther Al-Sheyyab

Horizon FCB Dubai announced today that Munther Al-Sheyyab has joined the agency as Planning Director.

Al-Sheyyab started his career as a Business Management Consultant at Ernst & Young Amman where he worked on projects across Amman, Palestine and Libya before joining Young & Rubicam Amman in 2011 as Deputy Head of Planning Department – Strategic Planner. There he built brands for clients in the Retail, Banking, Automotive, Aviation, Real Estate and FMCG’s sectors, as well as managing the planning department and working on business development. In 2013 Al-Sheyyab moved to Young & Rubicam Group Dubai as Strategic Planner, where he won two Dubai Lynx Grand Prix and a Bronze Cannes Lion for Coca-Cola Middle East’s “Hello Happiness”.

 

Al-Sheyyab said, “My nomadic childhood, surrounded by different cultures, attitudes and behaviors, made me interested in what makes people tick, and starting out as a management consultant showed me the value of understanding clients’ business problems. I share Horizon FCB’s belief that we need to go beyond simple awareness – really aiming to change consumers’ behavior – to solve these problems. Adding that to what I saw of the internal culture, it felt like a natural fit for me.”
