FCB Zürich Garners One Gold and Six Bronze Awards at the ADC Switzerland Awards 2015
Gold for the World’s First Hearing Test Concert by Neuroth
Zurich, May 6, 2015 – There is a very high psychological barrier involved in getting a hearing test. People who experience hearing loss take, on average, around seven years to decide to use a hearing aid.
To overcome this, FCB Zurich set up a hearing test that actually could be enjoyed: the world’s first hearing test concert, performed by the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra. A total of 1,100 spectators came to this event, which was held at the Kultur Casino Bern.
The experience took place in the concert hall, and the renowned orchestra played pieces by Beethoven and Weber, but there was one big difference. Certain passages were used to simulate a hearing test. The spectators received cards to mark the tones and frequencies they were able to hear and those they could not. Neuroth audiologists collected and analyzed the cards during the break and interested parties were offered a free personal consultation at the venue.
Additionally, the following campaigns were awarded Bronze awards by the jury:
“Bobby Car” for Zurich Insurance Austria, the “Emography App” for MTV mobile (two prizes), “Enjoy the Show” for Greenpeace and “Theatre Rigiblick Plays the News” (two prizes).
