FCB Paris Wins Big at Cristal Festival Awards
Agency Ranks as One of the Top French Agencies at the Awards
FCB Paris made a splash at this year’s Cristal Festival Awards, the global creative advertising festival that celebrates excellence in advertising, bringing home a total of four awards and being honored as one of the top ten agencies in France. The three Silver and one Bronze awards won recognized the agency’s work for the France Association for Organ Donation (ADOT).
The “#FreeYourOrgans” campaign, which showed the emotional decision and lifesaving results of becoming an organ donor, won one Silver in the Corporate & PR: Great Cause/NGO category and one Bronze in the Corporate & PR: Best Use of Influencer category.
The second campaign, called “Kidney for Sale on eBay,” centered around a fake but disturbing ad featuring a bloody kidney for sale on eBay. This shocking execution brought home two Silvers for the Corporate & PR: Best Use of Digital PR category and the Media: Great Cause/NGO category.
In addition to the awards, FCB Paris ranked as the No. 10 most awarded French agency along with other top agencies, a jump from No. 27 in just one year.
“While we know it can sometimes be a morbid topic, we knew these campaigns would make people change the way they approach organ donation and see it as a lifesaving decision that could bring hope and survival to people within their own community,” said FCB Paris CEO Nathalie Cogis. “Helping those people who are in need of an organ is the true honor, and being recognized for work by the Cristal Awards is just icing on the cake.”
