FCB Named a Top Social Responsibility Agency, per The Good Report
Campaigns from FCB Africa and FCB Toronto honored among this year’s “Top 40”
New York, April 11, 2016 — The Good Report this week released its annual rankings of the top ad agencies using communications to promote sustainability and social responsibility.
FCB was named the seventh most successful advertising agency network for its efforts in leveraging creativity and communications to promote good causes in 2015.
Contributing to this position were two campaigns from FCB Africa and FCB Toronto, both of which ranked among the report’s “Top 40 most successful campaigns promoting good causes.” FCB Toronto was also the only Canadian agency to be ranked this year.
FCB Africa’s “A Rainbow for the #RainbowNation” initiative for Coca-Cola, which promoted the 20th anniversary of democracy in Johannesburg, earned the No. 18 spot on The Good Report’s list of the “Top 40 most successful campaigns promoting good causes.”
Additionally, FCB Toronto’s “Nobody's Memories” campaign for PFLAG Canada – a tribute to those couples in the past who were never able to marry by law, and for those who are still denied the right today – ranked No. 30.
These latest recognitions add to a long list of awards: FCB Africa has received 22 awards since the launch of “A Rainbow for the #RainbowNation” and “Nobody's Memories” earned a Silver Lion for film at the 2015 Cannes Lions Advertising Festival.
FCB Global Chief Creative Officer Susan Credle commented, “When we do good, we do well. Welcome to marketing in 2016. Purpose-driven work shouldn’t be something we do every once in a while, but something as an agency we strive to do every day. We are honored to be recognized for doing some of the best good work in the industry on behalf of our clients.”
