FCB Brasil has a new Creative Director
São Paulo, March 17, 2016 – Romero Cavalcanti joins FCB Brasil as the agency’s new creative director and will report to Joanna Monteiro, CCO of FCB Brasil.
With 16 years of experience in the advertising industry, Romero started his career as a copywriter. Before coming to FCB, he was at Leo Burnett, F/Nazca S&S, AlmapBBDO and JWT, where he worked on accounts such as Skol, P&G, Unilever, Leica, Volkswagen, Honda, HSBC and Nike, just to name a few.
Cavalcanti is one of the most awarded professionals of his generation, having won awards at major national and international advertising festivals. He has won 17 Lions at the Cannes Festival, including the coveted Grand Prix in the video category for the “100” commercial for Leica. Cavalcanti has also won awards at the Clios, One Show, D&AD, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Professionals of the Year by Globo and the Clube de Criação Festival. He is named to Advertising Age's annual Top 5 list of creative professionals and was the 10th most award-winning copywriter at the 2015 Cannes and One Show awards.
