Draftfcb’'s Pully Chau Named a Global Innovator by The Internationalist

One of the most respected publishers focusing on the global marketing, media and advertising industry has named Draftfcb Greater China chairman and CEO Pully Chau as one of the 31 innovators for 2013.

The Internationalist the global print and digital publication based in the USA, has released its new annual list of top innovators who are recognised for leadership in transforming their industry sectors. The listing is now in its seventh year.

According to The Internationalist’s website: "This year's Innovators do not merely reflect the changing nature of the advertising agency business, but this extraordinary group is in the midst of transforming it. For the first time, innovation is associated with many new areas that underscore the breadth of expanding agency responsibilities -- trading desks, barter, procurement, analytics, strategy, as well as creative, media, digital and overall leadership roles."

Ms. Chau, who received notification of her recognition this week, said it was a great honour to be included in the 2013 Innovators listing. "Draftfcb globally is focused on constant innovation to help our clients improve the performance of their brands," said Ms. Chau. "This is also very relevant in China’s accelerating marketplace and I am honoured to receive this recognition."

The Internationalist’s Innovators list is chosen from nominations during a two-month call for entries period. A committee, comprised of past Innovators, The Internationalist board and its editorial team, vote on the worthiness of each candidate while also taking into consideration the number of nominations for each individual.

Ms. Chau has been chairman and CEO of Draftfcb Greater China for the past three years. She leads operations located in Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Hong Kong and Taipei.
