Draftfcb Sweeps El Ojo Awards, Wins Grand Prix and 24 Other Top Awards

At the 16th Annual El Ojo de Iberoamerica Festival earlier this month, Draftfcb offices in Latin America took home a combined 25 awards, including a Grand Prix for Mayo Draftfcb Peru's widely acclaimed outdoor billboard for the University of Technology and Engineering (UTEC) in Lima, Peru.

Mayo Draftfcb Peru was honored with the Grand Prix along with five gold awards for its campaign for UTEC, which has been heralded worldwide as an innovative outdoor campaign combining advertising and technology to transform humid desert air into potable drinking water. UTEC was also named "Best Client of Peru." The agency also won three silvers and one bronze award for "Searching Hearts," a fundraising campaign for the Peruvian Cancer Foundation. In addition, the agency was named "Best Agency," and its chief creative officer Humberto Polar was named "Best Creative Director" in the market.

Giovanni + Draftfcb in Brazil was honored with one gold, two silvers, and three bronze awards for its work on the solar-powered phone charging station for Nivea, as well as one gold, one silver, and three bronze awards for its work on the Sharpie Twin Tip campaign. Giovanni + Draftcb's campaign for the Universidade Cruzeiro Do Sul Brasil also earned a silver award.
